Stock Controller
We are recruiting for our client based over in Basildon looking for an experienced Stock Controller who will oversee stock levels and contribute highly to the company. For this role you will need the following skills:
- Identify areas of improvement and implement changes to work procedures and practices
- Advise customers on stock availability and estimated time of arrival of goods
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient management of goods and processes
- Ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy
- Organise and maintain inventory and storage areas
- Utilise warehouse software packages (Defacto Software/MS365) and Microsoft Office (Excel) proficiency
- Manage stock and maintain stock accuracy reporting on site and outside storage
- Maintain records, document necessary information and utilise reports to project warehouse status
- Organise warehouse to warehouse stock transfers
- Maintain accurate reporting on the best before dates stock and liaise with departments
- Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a stock controller role
- The candidate will be expected to follow company systems, methods and the technology that is involved

- Able to work with a number of departments who are also under pressure
- Able to travel in the UK
- Clean driving licence

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Days: 40 hours a week, (8am to 5 pm)
Area: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 p.a. depending on experience and performance.
