FP&A Consultant

Stanton House is working with a PE Backed Professional Services business near Oxford to recruit an FP&A Consultant on a 6 month interim basis (Outside IR35). Since the initial PE investment, the brand has made seven buy side deals and is soon to deliver their eighth. With a revenue of circa £35m and aspirations to reach £100m in a two years, the CFO requires an experienced FP&A Consultant to assist during a particularly busy period.

As an FP&A Consultant, you will play a key role in providing strategic financial insights and guidance to drive business decisions. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast company performance, assess profitability, and evaluate potential investments or new business opportunities.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Update the budget model and quarterly forecasts, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic projections.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze monthly financial results, identify key drivers of performance, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.

To be suitable, you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Private Equity experience is desirable but not essential
  • Highly experienced with all aspects of FP&A
  • Available to start immediately.

You will be required in the office c3 days a week (near Oxford). This is outside IR35 paying c£500-£550pd.
