Maintenance Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, providing 24/7 support for efficiency in quality and dispatch.
- Collaborate with purchasing managers to strengthen supplier relationships.
- Achieve maintenance targets and monitor system KPIs.
- Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions for plant issues.
- Report weekly and monthly performance, including variance analysis and action plans.
- Support team objectives and manage maintenance expenses to optimize costs and quality.
Person Specification:
- HNC in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Engineering or equivalent with relevant qualifications.
- Hands-on role with potential out-of-hours work.
- Extensive mechanical/electrical engineering experience, preferably in sheet metal.
- Experience within a heavy engineering or foundry enviornment is essential for this position.
- Minimum 5 years in people management and team leadership.
- Experience in subcontract environments and proficiency in reading technical drawings.
- Knowledgeable in procurement, maintenance, and Health & Safety best practices.
- Familiar with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems.
