Interim Financial Accountant | Multi-channel Retail Scale-Up | Hybrid
The Client
We are delighted to have once again partnered with an exciting and fast-growing multichannel clothing brand to find them an Interim Finance Manager. Based out of their Cornwall HQ 2 days per week, this role will initially be a 3-4-month interim commitment with the potential to go permanent thereafter.
Having scaled rapidly and become a market leader with their unique and creative clothing lines, revenue is now exceeding £15m and headcount over 250. They are set on continuously scaling the D2C sales through their online platform along with opening new stores in the UK.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller and also working with the Finance Director, this position is crucial improvement their current finance processes and optimising their finance system NetSuite. This will require someone who is comfortable not only working autonomously but also able to partner across the business when required.
Responsibilities
- Optimize NetSuite system and make improvements where necessary.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Upgrade KPI dashboards to provide the most meaningful insights for the executive team.
- Understand the businesses reporting requirements and ensure NetSuite is set up to match those requirements.
- Continuously improve processes to speed up the month-end and year-end tasks.
- Support on the year end audit.
- Oversee the AP process.
Essential Experience
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
- Experience using NetSuite.
- Retail or adjacent industry experience.
Bonus Experience
- Experience in a PE backed environment.
Day Rate: £200 - £250/day (outside IR35)
Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week in their Cornish office
