Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Sales. As Head of Sales, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, taking esponsibility for developing new business and managing a small sales team. The role is primarily customer focussed, so you will be mainly field based, with the requirement to attend regular meetings at Head Office (based in Wiltshire).
Experience and Attributes Required
- Ideally, you will possess a technical working understanding of Screen or/and Digital Printing, though a broader exposure within a bespoke production provider is considered essential
- Proven experience/understanding of B2B Sales (or working in) the Manufacturing arena
- Proven aptitude for intelligent New Business acquisition, encompassing research, approach, present, close, convert, implementation & retention
- Commercially sound (robust price and margin management)
- Recognition & ability to deliver innovative & bespoke solutions to Clients, through all aspects of the supply chain (reading the market upstream and downstream / maximising opportunities)
- Strategic direction and able to work closely with a good management team
- Strong Communication / Presentation Skills
- Energy, ambition, passion & ethos that engages people at all levels
- Customer rapport & Client Services/ Presales / Team co-ordination
- Highly effective verbal & written communication, combined with a proven ability to read & compile a comprehensive analysis of current market strategy
- High level of expertise and knowledge in Sales Fundamentals (Listening, Analytical, Problem Solving, Lead Qualifying, Negotiating, Persevering, Closing, Project Sales, CRM)
- MS office & Relevant Sales Optimization tools
- Additional computer Skills, SAP knowledge an added advantage
- Strong technical production understanding/appreciation
