Cherry Professional are delighted to be working with a Burton based company who are looking for an experienced

Quality Administrator

to join their growing, thriving and successful team. As a member of the Quality Team, you will play a key role in maintaining an essential and effective Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with the Good Distribution Practices (GDP) requirements and upholding responsibilities of a Wholesale Distribution Authorisation license. Reporting to the Quality Manager (QM), you shall be assigned responsibilities by the QM, with a key focus on continuous improvement of the QMS and adhering to company policies and procedures. Key attributes and skills include a keen eye for detail, a drive to contribute, to be inquisitive and seek improvement solutions. Previous experience working within a Quality Department with auditing skills and with Good Manufacturing / Distribution Practice (GMDP) is preferred

What we're looking for:

  • Undertake detailed information analysis of specific content requiring high levels of concentration
  • Excellent professional presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Have attention to detail with strong administrative skills
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
  • Work produced to high standard with accuracy and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Initiative and be proactive to continually look for improvement to existing processes and procedures
  • A can-do approach to work with a positive attitude to learn and participate in activities that may be outside of your core responsibilities in support of business ethos and values
  • Competency and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

**The finer elements of the role include:

  • Actively participate in client / regulatory audits, including preparing and facilitating audits, preparation of documents, presentation of company processes and procedures with external auditor
  • Be responsible for allocated Quality driven projects from initiation, launch and completion / to include regular updates company wide through communication channels such as written communication and presentations
  • Maintain QMS Document Control and Document Change Process to ensure appropriate reviews and updates are undertaken, version controlled for issuance and update of records
  • Monitoring, collating, reporting and presenting KPI's that are essential to the company
  • Maintain Calibration & Maintenance records, to ensure necessary servicing, maintenance and calibration activities are arranged as planned, and to file associated documents and reports
  • To prepare and conduct Temperature Mapping exercise as scheduled and the ability to consolidate findings to present as a reporting pack for approval
  • Maintain the Change Management process to ensure completion of appropriate documents and store appropriately
  • Lead in the completion of client quality questionnaires and the presentation of supplementary documentation
  • Administrative responsibility in scheduling Quality Meetings, recording, filing and distribution of minutes
  • Issuing company wide email communication following any regulatory updates/alerts/shortages notifications
  • Active in the monthly stock take to reconcile Operation Centre and 3rd Party facility counts with the inventory system
  • To capture customer complaints and to support in the investigation and reporting to achieve a satisfactory resolution
  • To record and issuing Quality Incidents to applicable providers to ensure such events are captured with appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken
  • To capture and conduct investigations on internal deficiencies to provide applicable corrective and preventative actions and to monitoring these actions to completion
  • To be able to prepare client/vendor approval, review packs to ensure all checks and evidence are available
  • Maintain an up-to-date client, supplier and service provider log to ensure integrity of the supply chain
  • Monitoring and progressing regulatory and manufacturers product recall process and liaising with internal departments/clients for reconciliation and closure
  • To be able to prepare training materials for the area of your responsibility and present to the business where necessary
