An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a leading organisation in the UK equipment hire & management sector. This role offers up to £28k per annum and is based in Trafford Park.

What you'll do:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth financial operations within the company. You will handle various responsibilities including allocation of monies to the Sales Ledger, liaising with customers, operating payment machines, reviewing payments, and handling mail. Your excellent communication skills will be put to good use as you interact with both customers and colleagues. Your attention to detail will be essential in preventing customer disputes by matching appropriate invoices and credit notes. Your role will also involve handling telephone enquiries from branches and customers.

  • Allocation of monies to the Sales Ledger
  • Matching invoices and credit notes to prevent customer disputes
  • Liaising with customers for receipts without remittance advices
  • Operating the PDQ machine for purchase card payments
  • Reviewing unallocated payments and releasing all daily postings
  • Handling internal and external mail and assisting the Credit Note Request function

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Receivable Specialist role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent communication skills. You should have a working knowledge of Excel and Word, along with good keying skills. Your ability to work on your own initiative will be highly valued. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided.
