Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently working closely with a wonderful 2 form entry Primary School in the BS5 area of Bristol.

We are looking for enthusiastic teaching assistants who enjoy working with children, have a passion for learning and will put the needs of our children first.

This school is a thriving and vibrant school who are passionate about providing a positive and happy environment for children and their staff.

The Role

This position is a full-time role from September on a fixed term contract until August 2025.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is a great team player, able to communicate clearly with other staff and work flexibly around different classrooms.

The job offers an opportunity to work on a 1 to 1 basis and with small groups of children.

You will be expected to:

  • Have experience working with children.
  • Be flexible, positive and hard-working.
  • Hold great behaviour management skills.
  • Take every opportunity to develop children's language, reading, social and numeracy skills.
  • Work closely with Class Teachers.
