Job specification:
- Collaborate with line management to create an annual activity plan based on the strategic plan, focusing on timing and high-level deliverables to enhance customer experience.
- Under line management, manage daily activities within budget through regular review and monitoring of operations, goodwill, and compensation payments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring oversight meets external regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse data to develop action plans and recommendations.
- Identify, assess, and communicate risks through data analysis and policy alignment, highlighting trends and recommending corrective actions.
- Understand the company's handbook, policies, relevant legislation, and market best practices, ensuring a sound grasp of business processes and outsourced service operations.
- Collaborate with internal functions, business partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify risks and incidents, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as reasonably requested.
Person specification:
- Relevant education/professional management or industry-related qualifications.
- Excellent written and verbal skills; able to effectively communicate with all business levels internally and externally.
- Strong team player, adept at building relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and business partners.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of operational and conduct risk principles, especially in financial services operations, including service processes, provision, and sales channels.
- General knowledge of regulated, compliant business environments and control measures.
- Preferably experienced in financial services or a related service sector.
- Experience managing multiple functional areas and stakeholders.
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation.
- Knowledgeable about legal, regulatory, and compliance issues related to customer data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
