Weighbridge Administrator

Salary - £12.50 per hour (plus benefits)
Hours - 48 hours per week plus overtime
Duration - 2.5 years
Location Postcode - CB24 6DQ

As a Weighbridge Administrator, you will weigh waste vehicles in and out of the landfill site.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?

- Weighing in and out of vehicles and entering details on to the 'Gladis' Weighbridge System
- Monitoring Waste Transfer Notes and EWC code usage
- Assisting the site manager in ensuring reports are populated
- Ensuring users of the site are inducted into the site safety procedures
- Assisting the Site Manager in controlling and co-ordinating the efficient operation of the weighbridge
- Recording and reporting near-misses or dangerous situations
- Being aware of and conversant with the relevant details of the environmental permit, Working Plan and Risk Assessments

This may include work distributed from other sites under the line manager's control.
