Summary of role

You will be responsible for designing end-to end digital and in-person learning experiences for apprenticeships and commercial offerings, using Instructional Design theory to develop storyboards, scripts, workshops, videos and immersive learning experiences for Babington's diverse learner populations.

Responsibilities

  • Create learner-centric blended learning solutions, using diverse content formats such as e-learning, workshops, handouts, videos, on the job activities and interactive learning exercises.
  • Storyboard and script content for all learning assets including video, immersive learning, digital and physical learning resources (including virtual and physical classroom).
  • Lead and manage projects to ensure consistent and effective learning experiences are created and learning objectives are met.
  • Develop clear design guides, using Instructional Design pedagogy, for use across Babington's programme development team.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2+ years of Instructional Design / Learning Design experience, ideally in the apprenticeship sector.
  • Understanding of Articulate Rise and/or Storyline, and how to create clear design guides for development.
  • Experience of designing blended learning solutions for apprenticeships and/or professional qualifications
  • Experience of scripting written content from storyboards, turning technical content into a learner-centric narrative.
  • Ability to visualise the learner journey and design an engaging user experience.
