PAYMENTS STRATEGY LEAD

UP TO £127,000

REMOTE / LONDON OFFICE

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and measuring payment success within the business. You will be in charge of leading the development for the payments strategy, while designing and implementing both front-end and back-end payment infrastructure.

THE COMPANY

This company's main aim is to empower people to increase savings and avoid using overdrafts and loans. They offer many budgeting solutions, and are currently working on building an AI platform enabling customers to achieve financial well-being through many different products.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • Serve as the primary representative for this business' payments division, embodying and communicating the company's payments vision and strategy both internally and externally.
  • Establish and continuously refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and success of payment systems.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that enhances transaction efficiency and maintains strict regulatory compliance within the US payments landscape.
  • Identify and integrate innovative payment solutions that streamline processes and improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the Partnerships team to monitor and understand emerging trends and developments in the payments sector.
  • Manage the design and implementation of both user-facing payment interfaces and the underlying infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of a multi-year payments strategy that outlines clear objectives for growth and scalability.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in developing and implementing complete payment strategies with previous success.
  • Previous experience mentoring and managing individuals.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally within the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerate degree from a Russel Group University.
