Role Responsibilities
- Handling complex tax matters and providing clear, concise advice to clients
- Working directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored tax solutions
- Identifying areas where more detailed tax advice is needed and coordinating with internal specialists
- Managing and navigating HMRC enquiries on behalf of clients
- Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of services
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Overseeing billing and debt collection for your client portfolio
- Participating in internal tax technical training sessions to maintain and enhance your skills
- Collaborating with internal teams such as Accounts, Business Management, and Payroll to ensure cohesive service delivery

Candidate Requirements
- CTA or equivalent professional qualification (a private client background would be an advantage but not essential)
- Proven experience in managing self-assessment tax returns and reviewing complex tax issues
- Ability to conduct technical tax research and communicate complex concepts clearly to clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads, time charges, and budgets
- Committed to maintaining and updating technical knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work in a team and support junior members
- Ability to work productively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
