Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days working from home)
Our client is an independent broker who is looking to expand its Manchester office with an experienced Casualty Claims Handler.
The Role:
- Reporting to the Claims Director, as a Casualty Claims Handler you will manage a portfolio of Casualty losses, including Employers and Public Liability claims.
- You will be working with a variety of clients from different industry's including Retail, Construction, Leisure and Hospitality.
- There is no upper limit in value to these losses, so your caseload will be allocated on technically competencies.
- Whilst there is no delegated authority, this is by no means a post-box service. You will present losses to insurers, manage the progress of the lifecycle and negotiate and challenge the settlement terms.
The Required Skills:
- To be considered as a Casualty Claims Handler, you will be expected to have a strong technical standing in Casualty claims, from a broker or insurer.
- You will be confident in communicating with clients, insurers and relevant third parties.
- This is an excellent opportunity to build on your technical knowledge and expertise and help support and mentor less experienced colleagues.
