Role Overview
The EUC Architect will lead the design and implementation of a unified End User Computing (EUC) environment. This role involves consolidating service desks, data centres, and operating models, as well as adopting modern workplace solutions and Microsoft 365 capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-level and low-level designs for Windows 11, virtual workspace, tenancy & AD migration, file shares to OneDrive, identity security, and information protection.
- Oversee the consolidation of Microsoft 365 tenancies and enhance EUC delivery.
- Collaborate with external partners to design and implement a unified IT environment.
- Create and execute a migration strategy for users and devices.
- Ensure the successful deployment of telephony, print, and EUC solutions.
- Provide detailed documentation and support services post-implementation.
- Support the adoption of Microsoft 365 E5 capabilities and modern workplace solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in EUC architecture and large-scale IT integration projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and modern workplace solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to work in an agile environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel to the client's office in Milton Keynes as and when required
What you'll get in return
- An initial 3-Months contract with a view to extend
- Day rate between £550 - 600 per day
- Hybrid working available
