Our client, a global law and professional services firm, are looking for an Operations Assistant to join their growing London office. They are a meritocracy and pride themselves on creating an environment where hard work is rewarded and are looking for a candidate with Operations or Facilities experience to work alongside the small, but well-established Operations team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Supporting the Operations Manager, you will provide a mixture of administration, facilities and operations support to the London office. This role is multifaceted and you will have wide ranging responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Looking after any visiting clients, welcoming and greeting them
- Make sure the office is fully and correctly stocked at all times
- Manage phone lines and the Operations mailbox
- Support the Operations Manager with calendar management and ad hoc projects
- Manage meeting room bookings
- Oversee supplier relationships, manging documents and invoicing
- Assist with Health and Safety checks and planning
- Assist with planning internal and external events
WHO YOU ARE
Our client is looking for a candidate with proven previous experience and who will be able to hit the ground running. You will be a self-starter, able to autonomously and take initiative. Working within the Operations team you will liaise with people throughout the company so someone who is a confident communicator is a must.
Requirements
:
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a similar role, ideally within a law firm or within professional services
- Exceptional organisation skills
- Educated to A-level standard
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
