QA Engineer

About you:?

You will be an experienced engineer with knowledge of applications interconnections, queuing and communications protocols. You should have experience of testing interfaces and integration engines in a Healthcare environment with knowledge of automation frameworks, performance, load, and security testing.??

You should also be familiar with information governance and data protection issues as well as confidentiality, consent and safeguarding issues.

Day-to-day, you will:?

  • Advise and collaborate with team stakeholders on the QA approach to align with the test and business strategy.
  • Design, execute, and record high-standard testing suitable for an agile, fast-paced environment, adhering to the product teams' definitions of done.
  • Actively contribute to refinement, understanding scope, risk, and complexity of changes from inception to delivery, following a risk-based approach to identify, assess, and escalate quality risks.
  • Contribute to developing test processes and improvements, and assist in creating and executing automation tests where required.

Your skills and experiences might also include:??

  • Experienced in working in fast-paced, Agile environments with SaaS or web-based products.
  • Proficient in defining and crafting test plans, writing re-usable test cases, and understanding risk and risk-based testing.
  • Solid background in testing approaches and techniques, including assisting in the development of test processes and improvements.
  • Skilled with technology and tools such as API tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman), continuous testing within pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps), SQL Server, and test repositories (e.g., qTest, Azure DevOps Test Plans).
