We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Cheshunt starting in September. This permanent role offers a unique opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving science department.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging physics lessons to students of varying abilities, ensuring that each student is able to progress and achieve their full potential.
- Differentiating lesson plans to cater to the individual needs of students.
- Utilising innovative teaching methods to engage and motivate students.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and creating a positive learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the science department to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Maintaining open communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Physics or Science Teacher with UK or overseas certification.
- Teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS) is preferred, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to manage students of different abilities and differentiate lessons.
- Proactive, innovative, and able to engage students in various ways.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude and a focus on achieving the best for every student.
