About the Role
As a Stores Team Leader, you will:
Support Management: Assist in directing daily store operations with flair and efficiency.
Supervise with Style: Oversee the day-to-day activities of our vibrant stores personnel.
Goods Receipting: Ensure smooth and efficient stock receipt processes.
Supplier Returns: Manage returns with precision and professionalism.
Stock Deliveries: Keep the flow of stock deliveries seamless and on point.
Rotational Stock Checks: Maintain inventory accuracy with regular checks.
Stock Location Recording: Organize new products in the store like a pro.
Stock Adjustments: Handle adjustments swiftly and effectively.
Housekeeping: Keep our stores sparkling and organized.
Ensure Compliance: Monitor adherence to Health & Safety policies, keeping everyone safe and sound.
Client Interaction: Deliver stock products and maintain stellar customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Guru: Source and provide supplier catalogues and product references for clients.
Order Expediter: Speed up outstanding purchase orders with efficiency.
Accurate Recording: Record goods delivered into the stock control system with precision.
Back Order Management: Release products on back order promptly.
Timely Deliveries: Confirm customer deliveries quickly and accurately.
Documentation: Ensure all paperwork is completed and authorized meticulously.
Standard Compliance: Complete stock deliveries within one working day of receipt.
Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock checks and record locations for new products.
Action-Oriented: Handle stock adjustments and take appropriate actions.
Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Team Meetings: Attend site meetings to discuss and follow up on store-related issues.
Hours of Work
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 12 hour rotating shifts (06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00).
Weekend Work: Be prepared to work 4 on 4 off 12 hour rotating shifts (06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00) as part of the rotating schedule.
Hourly Pay Rate: £18.35 per hour INCLUDING shift allowance
Temp-to-Perm Opportunity: Start temporary with the potential to go permanent.
