Cover People are currently recruiting for a Key Stage One Teacher for a full-time role in a Primary School in Stockport from September 2024.
The Role
A warm and welcoming Primary School based in Heaton Mersey are looking for a Key Stage One Teacher to work within their Year 1 class for the new academic year. The successful Teacher will be required to plan and deliver all lessons, helping to develop an engaging learning environment with the aid of an experienced classroom Teaching Assistant.
The school are looking for a creative teacher who is very hands on and looks to inspire independent learning within the classroom and has a child led teaching style, running with the children's interests.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and diverse lessons to children of all abilities.
- Direct TA to support children where required
- Report on class performance
- Implement behavioural strategies
- Adhere to school safeguarding policy
