The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller and play a key role in the continued success of the business.

What you'll do:

As our next Tax Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring tax compliance across our rapidly expanding business. You will have the responsibility of reviewing and implementing tax processes and controls over a wide range of taxes, both in the UK and overseas. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in preparing UK corporate tax returns, managing submissions of overseas tax returns, improving existing processes for efficiency, and implementing new ones as needed. Your role will also involve strategic tax planning to optimise tax assets, along with performing comprehensive tax reporting and accounting for the UK Group.

  • Ensure tax compliance across the Group.
  • Review and implement tax processes and controls over a wide range of taxes.
  • Prepare UK corporate tax returns and manage submission of overseas tax returns.
  • Improve processes to improve efficiency of corporate tax compliance.
  • Implement new processes to cover new obligations that arise as the Group expands.
  • Undertake tax planning to ensure tax assets are optimised.
  • Perform tax reporting and accounting for the UK Group, undertaking annual review of deferred tax assets.

What you bring:

The ideal Tax Manager will bring formal relevant qualifications along with strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards. You should possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent leadership abilities. Your ability to influence at all levels will enable you to deliver business-oriented solutions through effective coordination and individual effort.
