The Job Area Sales Manager - Vision Systems
The Company:
- Cash rich, leading supplier of Control & Automation equipment who have excellent partnerships with leading manufacturers.
- Looking to strengthen machine vision sales team with the recruitment of a high calibre Sales Manager.
- Responsible for managing a small team and selling a portfolio of hardware and software associated with vision systems, sensors and bar code readers.
- Offer manufacture training through a mixture of internal and external courses.
- Opportunity to develop within the business, getting valuable experience in the automation sector.
The Role of the Area Sales Manager - Vision Systems
- Field based role working for a company who specialise in the supply of automation components and systems.
- Working from home and managing a small team.
- You will go to customer sites and sell solutions into the Factory Automation environment.
- Lots of work in the F&B & Automotive industries etc...
- Effectively be the "go to" person for vision applications.
- Covering the South of the UK – home based, flexible working role.
- 4 days per week on the road with 1 from home on a Monday or Friday.

- £40k-£45k basic salary
- £10k-£14k OTE

The Ideal Person for the Area Sales Manager - Vision Systems
- Ideally from an Electrical, Electronic or possibly Mechanical engineering background.
- Knowledge of vision systems and coding.
- Broad automation engineering exposure.
- Looking for strong field sales experience.
- Very personable with strong account business development skills.
- Hard working, self-motivated, outgoing, confident, team player.
