A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of complex projects, ensuring all deliverables, timings, and budgets are met. With a strong background in logistics and warehousing, the Project Manager will leverage their expertise in project management skills, techniques, and processes to evaluate solutions and provide insightful recommendations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to partner, form, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives, goals, and milestones. This role involves collaborating with other managers across various functions, handling new customer onboardings, and managing change or continuous improvement projects for existing clients.

Effective communication across diverse audiences at multiple levels is crucial. The Project Manager will adeptly navigate internal and external processes, overcoming barriers to implement new procedures successfully. The role demands managing multiple projects of varying complexity, with the ability to prioritize based on business or customer needs.

The Candidate;

  • A strong logistics background within E-Commerce operations is highly desirable
  • Experience managing or supervising a team in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Background in Ecommerce and FMCG business.
  • Extensive project management experience with a focus on improvement.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and good customer focus with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and shift resources as needed to accommodate multiple project demands.
  • Results-driven with progressive experience in Supply Chain management, including Production, Health, Safety & Environmental, Quality, and Distribution.
  • Experience with Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), Six Sigma, and LEAN Management techniques.
  • Understanding of technical system capabilities, with experience in WMS, TMS, Webshops, or ERP platforms.
  • Understanding of system integration principles.
  • Experience managing multiple projects using modern workflow management and planning tools (e.g., Monday.com, ClickUp, Mindmap software, Visio, or other process mapping software)

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Lead Business Improvement Projects (BIP) to achieve cost-saving targets, meet deadlines, and manage customer and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure project benefits are delivered through proper cost and tracking mechanisms.
  • Drive the use of Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies across the business, applying knowledge of process tools such as Process Mapping, Risk Management, and Control Plans.
  • Develop and create project plans to provide clear visibility of key steps needed for project success.
  • Utilize project tracking to capture, measure, and monitor the status, benefits, and issues of projects, and develop appropriate reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, customers, business partners, and stakeholders.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, negotiation skills, and initiative.
  • Support the Technology team by communicating customer requirements clearly and promptly and relaying lead times back to customers.
  • Design, develop, and validate balanced scorecards and dashboards for the organization and customers, recommending improvements.
  • Oversee operations facilities, ensuring services are delivered in line with business requirements and quality standards at optimal costs.
  • Assist the operations team with key administrative tasks and objectives, providing efficient solutions to drive simplicity.
  • Act as the lead contact for projects, managing day-to-day operational aspects related to tasks and project requirements.
  • Identify and implement mutually beneficial improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal and external customers.
  • Design and implement key performance indicators to identify shift/line performance, recommending improvements and driving continuous improvement plans.
