We are seeking a Technical Product Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for a technical individual with a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading the next phase of delivery for our core B2B platform, focusing on automation and enhancing functionality.
**Day to Day of the role:
- Lead a team through sprints to deliver the next phase of the platform within set timelines.
- Manage user onboarding, mediate quotations and purchasing, and facilitate shipping.
- Coordinate with the CEO and Head of Operations for regular updates and strategic planning.
- Gather feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints.
- Contribute to the development cycle of new products and applications.
- Engage in stakeholder management and maintain clear communication across all levels of the organisation.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong technical background with proficiency in Frontend technologies (Typescript, Next.js, SSR, React hooks, Material UI, React query) and Backend technologies (Java 17, Spring boot 3, AWS services, Node.js, CI/CD etc).
- Experience leading and managing a team in a technical environment.
- Ability to gather feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints.
- Experience in a startup environment, preferably within the fintech, commodities, or logistics industry.
- Ambition to step into a senior leadership role and potentially head up the technology department within 12-18 months.
- Comfortable with regular high-level interactions and meetings.
- Strong stakeholder management and clear communication skills.
