We are looking for an experienced practice Audit and Accounts Manager to work within a team of managers. The role is 75% audit and 25% accounting, handling a diverse portfolio of around 50 large clients.
Duties will include:
- Managing audit and accounting assignments for the client portfolio
- Liaising with a range of clients and and working to deadlines
- Supervising and reviewing staff workflow for audit production
- Attending client meetings, liaising at Director level
- Reviewing accounts
- Developing new business including networking and client proposals
- Developing junior members of the team
Core Skills
- ACA or ACCA qualified, with experience of FRS102
- Proven technical auditing skills
- Experienced in managing the audit process from planning to completion of financial statements
- Strong IT skills including accounting packages
