A 3 form entry Primary School in the BS16 area of South Gloucestershire is currently looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work throughout KS1 and KS2, supporting the teaching staff.

This school is part of a Trust who pride themselves on creating outstanding learning environments deeply rooted in our local communities.

You will be joining an energetic, hardworking and supportive team, where you will be expected to provide a calm and nurturing learning environment.

The Role

This role is a full-time position, where the successful candidate will work throughout this one-form entry school, working as a class TA, supporting interventions throughout KS1 and KS2.

Throughout the week, you will have a timetable following the Class Teachers PPA Times. Covering these lessons, you will be required to have a reflective and versatile approach to teaching and learning.

This post would also support a confident ECT.

You will be expected to:

  • Be flexible and work throughout all Key Stages.
  • Have experience supporting children with SEND
  • Have good knowledge of the educational curriculum.
  • Be creative, adaptable and supportive.
  • Have high expectations of pupils through motivation, encouragement and confidence.
