Rate of Pay: £85-£100 per day

The Role:
We are recruiting exceptional Classroom Assistants for the start of the new academic year! As a Classroom Assistant you will be required to support SEND children with our Classroom Assistants aiming to thrive within an SEND environment. To be considered for this role as a Classroom Assistant, you will have previous experience working with children and be available to start in September in line with the new academic year
Key Duties:
- Provide exceptional support to SEND children both 1:1 and in groups
- Adapt teaching support according to student's needs
- Promote inclusion and acceptance, support diversity and ensure pupils have equal access to learning and development
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assist pupils with practical activities using a variety of teaching aids
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs is preferred, though not essential
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEND.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of pupils.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or SEND support would be advantageous.
