Job Title: Design Manager - Rainscreen Cladding Systems

Remuneration: £65,000 - £85,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Design Manager - Rainscreen Cladding Systems will involve:
- Design Manager position dealing with various rainscreen and EWI façade projects
- Ensuring all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard
- Managing the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet the clients expectations
- Ensuring designs have relevant documentation to support them (specification, structural calculations and thermal calculations)
- Attending client meetings to ensure clear communications through the design period
- Ensuring information is passed between departments so designs have the technical back up required
- Dealing with all technical reports from consultants reporting on behalf of the client
- Facilitating the designs for projects that could range in value up to £10m
The ideal applicant will be Design Manager - Rainscreen Cladding Systems with:
- Must have 5+ years design experience within the building envelope market sector, dealing with rainscreen systems
- Sound understanding of AutoCAD & Rhino 3D
- Ability to run large scale projects autonomously £1m upwards
- High levels of attention to detail and organisation
- Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
- Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
