The Rising Sun in Fawkham Kent, located near Brands Hatch, are looking for a creative, talented and passionate chef to join our restaurant. Under new ownership, we are looking for a Chef with good communication skills, has an eye for detail and hands on initiating and developing the current menu.
Key skills include:
- Preparing food for cooking to an excellent standard.
- Managing budgets, stock control, and waste reduction.
- Keeping up with industry trends and creating new recipes and menus.
- Monitoring food production for quality and consistency every time.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment within the kitchen for all to follow.
- High standards and knowledge of hygiene and food safety.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 + years' experience working within a premium quality pub / restaurant. References required.
