Located in the Docklands area of London, this leading Public Sector Arms Length Body is looking to recruit a Senior HR Officer who be a key figure within the Human Resources department, responsible for driving HR strategies and policies, data analysis and exit interviews.

Description

Reporting to the Head of HR, the Senior HR Officer duties will include:

  • Undertaking workforce planning meetings with managers to establish recruitment and L&D needs.
  • Writing and updating HR policy and procedures, ensuring they comply with the latest legislation and best practice.
  • Conducting exit interviews as required.
  • Leading on end to end recruitment activities.
  • Supporting on L&D.
  • Using HR data to assist with decision making and reviews.
  • Undertaking HR administration including supporting the team around HR inbox, etc.

Profile

The successful Senior HR Officer will be CIPD qualified, or actively studying towards qualification and have exposure working in a similar position.

It essential that you have excellent communication skills and can show demonstrable experience of supporting managers with HR policy and process. Previous use in using HR systems to gather and interpret data is essential.

You will need to be someone who can come in and 'hit the ground running'.

Job Offer

A salary c.£35,000 plus excellent benefits including 27.5 days holidays, a very attractive pension scheme and the opportunity to work hybrid with 2 days a week in the office.
