R13 are supporting a fantastic company, who are looking to recruit a Head of Operations. This is a core role within the business, focusing on the operational strategy, ensuring smooth running of teams across the UK and providing clear direction.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Norwich and is working 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience.

The day to day

  • Identifying areas for improvement within the business strategy, focusing on operational needs.
  • Managing and enhancing the operational function of the business ensuring this aligns with the company's long term goals.
  • Leading your team, supporting their development, managing conflict and providing mentorship.
  • Managing resources effectively to ensure these are use optimally.
  • Analysing data, identifying trends and making decisions to drive operational efficiency.

You will have/be

  • Solid experience as an Operations Manager or Head of Operations.
  • Track record of successfully leading teams, providing clear direction and mentorship.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels, as well as work closely with multiple internal and external teams/stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a busy and diverse workload.
  • Natural problem solver and strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and develop strong solutions.
  • Procedure driven, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing multiple operational sites across a large geographical area.
