Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team where your day-to-day will be to manage cash flows and process financial transactions for service charges, rent receivables and deposits. This role is working 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and offers 2 days working from home.
The chances of this role becoming a permanent position are quite strong, but it ultimately depends on your performance in the job.
Duties:
- Process receipts related to rental and service charge income, including invoicing and cash transfer requests.
- Investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions, ensuring timely processing and clearing of the cash suspense account.
- Create and manage rent deposit virtual accounts while maintaining accurate transaction records.
- Prepare cash reports and promptly address any discrepancies or tenant inquiries regarding cash transactions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Finance and Property Management to support financial operations.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation related to cash transactions.
- Ensure internal controls are in place and maintain up-to-date process documentation and policies.
- Identify and escalate cash-related risks and opportunities for process improvements.
- Manage cash accounts and monitor cash flow for financial planning.
- Resolve cash-related disputes professionally and efficiently.
