We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a GOOD Ofsted team in Watford on a temporary basis for a maternity cover role, starting in November 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking school community, making a significant impact on the educational journey of their Year 4 students.

Salary: MPS3 to MPS6

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of all students.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and promotes the well-being of each child.

Assessing, monitoring, and recording student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership.

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the year group.

Contributing to the wider school community by participating in school events, extra-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Supporting the transition and continuity of learning for students as they progress through the year.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will possess:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, preferably within Key Stage 2.

A proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a primary school setting.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school's collaborative ethos.
