Director - Care Homes

We have an exciting and rare opportunity available for a Director to lead RBL's six Care Homes and ensure they are fit for the future. As part of the senior leadership team, you will influence the direction of the care homes, driving the improvement of our services through inspirational strategic vision and leadership.

We are looking for someone who can effectively lead our Homes through an exciting period of transformation including the introduction of new technologies to establish better ways of working and caring for our beneficiaries. Previous significant experience of profit/loss accountability and business management within the care sector, and experience of managing complex care budgets of £10m+ is essential for this role.

Key areas of responsibility will include –

  • Leading our geographically dispersed care homes through a period of transformation, being accountable for the strategy and delivery of RBL's Care Homes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through direct delivery of services, working in collaboration with other partner agencies and providers.
  • Ensuring the financial strategy for the care homes is robust and fit for purpose to ensure service delivery and viability.
  • Working in collaboration with the Services senior leadership team and the care services senior leadership team to develop corporate plans and budgets to deliver an exceptional service for our beneficiaries.

You will be expected to travel regularly in the course of your work. You will be contracted to your home address, where you will be expected to work – using our collaboration tools – when not travelling
