An amazing Assistant Finance Manager opportunity has become available for someone with an all-rounder skill set looking to take a step up. This role will be supporting the Finance Manager with a range of responsibilities, including month end and year end tasks. This role will have amazing trainee potential to learn things such as budgets, forecasts, management accounts and month end reconciliations.
The reason this role is available is due to company growth, the business has been expanding and the current Head of Finance is needing an experienced support person to assist with the above mentioned responsibilities as well as a range of transactional responsibilities (these will include purchase ledger, sales ledger and banking tasks). The ideal person will be confident and a strong communicator as this role will be liaising with a wide variety of staff from the business. Additionally, this role is looking to begin quite quickly so please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice period (one week).
**Skills required
- Be a confident and strong communicator, this role needs someone who will be happy to liaise with a range of departments to resolve issues/queries.
- Have previous all-rounder transactional finance experience, as this knowledge/experience is crucial in terms of learning the skills/tasks required in this role.
- Have strong excel skills, as processing data on excel, generating reports and updating spreadsheets will all be part of this position.
- Have strong attention to detail as you will be reviewing expenditure and budgets and looking for discrepancies and variances.
