As the Business Development Manager The overall purpose of this role is to drive the growth of Peregrine and generating new sales opportunities.

The roles and responsibilities are defined as:

  • Identify new sales opportunities:
  • Candidate marketing
  • Administration:
  • Apply legislation

Roles & Responsibilities?

  • Drive outbound lead generation in line with the business and department sales strategy
  • Thoroughly research potential clients and key decision-makers to understand their business requirements and how we can address their talent needs
  • Utilise LinkedIn to generate leads from trainee profiles that have withdrawn from the programme either during training or whilst on the training bench
  • Actively engage and monitor the Future Talent Alumni for potential new leads
  • Identify and attend business networking events, and industry meet ups.
  • Collaborate with Growth Directors to pinpoint sales opportunities and develop targeted outreach initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Understand and meet agreed KPIs and targets

Experience required:

Essential:

  • An understanding of hire train deploy programmes
  • Commercially aware and target-oriented
  • A positive and proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated with the drive to exceed targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organisation & presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of future talent solutions within the UK recruitment market.
  • Experience as a recruitment consultant or resource in a former role, with good knowledge of the various recruitment solutions on the market.
