Role: Personal Injury Fee Earner/Solicitor
Location: Coventry
Salary: DOE
Benefits: 4 days in office, 1 day at home. Take home 20% of anything over target.
We, at Simpson Judge are currently working with are a pioneering multi-service law who are looking to further grow their Personal Injury department with an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner/Solicitor to come in and hit the ground running. This is an opportunity to work for a powerhouse in the Personal Injury sector, alongside some of the most skilled and respected lawyers in the field, with extensive experience in handling high-stakes cases worth millions and involving life-altering injuries. This role will also come with secretary and paralegal support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the established Claimant Personal Injury team to manage your own caseload
-Handle new and existing claims, including litigated matters
-Travel to meet clients and witnesses face-to-face
-Attend Court hearings
-Collaborate with Barristers, medical experts, and other professionals to progress each claim
-Prepare and draft documents, briefs, instructions, and schedules
-Value claims and negotiate settlements
Requirements:
-At least 3 years' experience in a similar role (in-house or private practice)
-Experience working in a target-driven commercial environment would be an asset
-A proven track record of handling high-value claims with a strong billing history
-Knowledge of Conditional Fee Agreements
-Experience with pre-litigated and litigated claims
-Familiarity with the MOJ portal
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Professionalism, proactivity, and attention to detail are essential
