An opportunity to join the leading United Kingdom (UK) Investment Bank, Deutsche Numis, working in the FIG coverage team. You should want to work in a meritocratic, fast-paced environment, within a team which aims to be the UK's leading FIG investment banking franchise.

You will work cross-product, on a variety of transaction types in the UK and across the global Deutsche Bank platform, including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Private Growth Capital, alongside interacting with senior executives at Deutsche Numis' retained and target FIG corporate client base.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, undertaking valuation analysis, coordinating pitch books, attending and presenting in client meetings, assisting the team in providing clients with advice, and managing transaction processes as the team works together to deliver quality outcomes to its client base.

Your key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, advisors, and other stakeholders
  • Analyse and present financial data, including developing financial/valuation models
  • Monitor market performance and activities of client peers/ general market conditions of relevance to your clients, delivering solutions to clients using sector and product knowledge
  • Take responsibility in the ideation and drafting of marketing materials, including attending and presenting in meetings/pitches
  • Conduct and manage business due diligence processes
  • Manage transaction processes, liaising with the client, advisers, and regulators. This can include planning timetables, transaction logistics coordination, ensuring documents and deadlines are adhered to alongside preparing internal committee papers

Your skills and experience

  • Previous relevant experience within the FIG sector
  • Experience in an Investment Banking or Corporate Finance environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial modelling and FIG sector valuation methodologies
  • Good communication and presentation skills, for presenting to clients or senior executives. Interpersonal skills and ability to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities
  • Partnership minded with a strive for excellence in what you do, underpinned by strong analytical skills
  • Operate with dynamism, creativity and hustle to deliver superior outcomes for clients working as a team
