ROLE – Assembly Technician
LOCATION - Reading
TERM - Permanent
SALARY- £23,000 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client designs and manufactures bespoke products in the Automotive industry, and they are looking to take on an Assembly Technician. This is a permanent position, based in Reading.
The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
- Ideally be experienced building high precision products
- Keen interest in Motorsport and Automotive industries
- Knowledge of pipes, hoses, valves, pumps and similar equipment would be beneficial
- Mechanical background in a workshop environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Team player
The Assembly Technician role will involve
:
- Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
- Pressure testing fluid transfer products
- Working to project specifications and deadlines
- Participating in technical training
- Working to procedures and instructions
- Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
