Business Support Assistant

Our client is seeking a Business Support Office to join them ASAP until the end of the year possibly longer.

This role is a hybrid position where you can work 2 days from home if you wish. The role offers flexi time where you need to work 37 hrs a week between 8am-6pm Monday – Friday.

This role is a mixture of administration, telephone work and call handling.

You will be dealing with various queries, issues and potential complaints reporting these following the relevant procedures already in place. This role comes with full training, and you would be fully supported.

To work on cross cutting corporate issues/projects as required

Supporting service managers to ensure that initial complaints, councillor enquiries, MP enquiries and FOI requests received are processed in accordance with council service standards

Monitor, develop and implement practices/processes to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and improve customer service

Deal with queries, liaising with internal and external contacts and providing advice and guidance where required

Experience of interpreting user requirements and translating into report specifications

Thorough understanding of the operations of a Property Services department, in a local authority environment, registered provider or private sector environment
