An established property company with offices based in Israel are seeking an Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their team. This varied role combines financial administration, offering the opportunity to play a key part in the day-to-day running of a business friendly and professional office environment.
This is a full time, office-based role Monday-Friday 9am-5pm located in North West London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising monthly rental invoices
- Reconciling rental payments and allocate accordingly
- Managing incoming rent payments and follow up on arrears
- Processing contractor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Reconciling landlord statements and resolve account queries
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Performing regular bank reconciliations
- Contacting various utility providers to open and close accounts for various properties
- Liaising with local councils regarding council tax responsibility
- Liaising with tenants and landlords to resolve accounting queries
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts/bookkeeping, sales and purchase ledger experience and reconciling accounts
- Strong IT skills and experience with accountancy software such as Xero/Sage
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
