Electrical Trainer - electricians required

Role: Electrical Trainer

Salary: £24-34K per annum

Working hours: 8.30-4.30pm - Mon-Fri (two Fridays off per month)

Location: Malton, with travel required across Yorkshire and Humber regions

Working arrangements: Hybrid - 1 day in the office (travel required, expenses paid)

We are working with a growing, OFSTED-rated "Good" training provider. This not-for-profit, independent provider based in North Yorkshire has been established for 36 years, delivering apprenticeships in leadership and engineering, bespoke NVQ provision, and online CPD training to employers across the region.

As the Electrical Trainer you will be required to:

  • Teach, plan, deliver, and assess Level 3 electrical courses and track learner progress within a scheduled timetable.
  • Conduct interviews, provide initial assessments and guidance, and monitor, evaluate, and assess learner progress and achievements, including internal quality assurance.
  • Develop and lead courses, create schemes of work, lesson plans, and provide additional learning support. Contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources.
  • Participate in quality initiatives, staff development opportunities, and non-teaching tasks such as attending company events and invigilating exams.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Previous industry experience as an electrician (electronics/wiring).
  • Level 3 electrical-related qualification.
  • A clean driving license and own vehicle.
