We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate Psychology Lecturer to join our Further Education team. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of students and has a strong background in psychology. As a Psychology Lecturer within our BTEC program, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students.
Day to day of the role:
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions to BTEC students studying psychology.
- Develop and assess BTEC course materials, ensuring they meet curriculum standards and foster a deep understanding of psychology.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students, nurturing their academic growth and passion for the subject.
- Collaborate with academic colleagues to enhance the learning experience, contribute to program development, and maintain the highest educational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A master's degree or higher in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in teaching BTEC courses or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong communication skills with a commitment to fostering student success.
Desired Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of BTEC assessment criteria and grading systems.
- Ability to create engaging, interactive, and innovative learning experiences.
- Proficiency with educational technology and online teaching platforms
