Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
- Profit and Loss Analysis: Conduct detailed profit and loss analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
- Variance Analysis: Provide comprehensive commentaries to senior management, explaining variances and offering recommendations for improvement.
- Year-End Audit Assistance: Support the Financial Controller and assist auditors with the year-end process, ensuring compliance and smooth audit procedures.
- Budget Holder Liaison: Work closely with budget holders on a monthly basis, offering financial guidance and ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, with strong technical skills in management accounts and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous improvement.
