NGI Programme Office Administrator

Your new role:
- Is to draft, edit, maintain, prepare, and modify documents, including correspondence, reports, schedules, spreadsheets etc as required by the programme office.
- Provide administration support by processing appointments, contracts, purchase orders and payments.
- Provide support in the preparation and collation of agendas, papers and presentations for key meetings, committees and boards, provide secretarial support, taking meeting minutes, logging actions, and circulating minutes.
- Arrange internal and external meetings, including booking travel and accomodation.
- Provide general admin support for different teams across the business.

What you'll need to succeed

  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information where appropriate.
  • Able to present a positive image of self and the institute, promoting both the international reputation and public engagement aims of the institute.
  • Willingness to sometimes work outside of hours.
  • Promote equality and value diversity.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Self-motivated, highly proactive, organised, good people skills, and excellent time management.
  • Experience of working in an administrative environment.
  • Be able to schedule meetings, travel arrangements, finance systems, expenses, purchase orders and budgeting.
  • Working knowledge of outlook, word, excel, spreadsheets, and accurate keyboard use.
  • Minute taking.
