A new exciting opportunity has become available for a Lead Project Manager, working with a global leading construction company. You will play a key role in overseeing and managing the IT project delivery team. You will also deliver key business projects by planning, executing, and overseeing projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful planning, execution and completion of IT projects in alignment with business goals.

You will:

  • Coach the project delivery team, providing clear direction and motivation.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the project management team
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, department heads, and external vendors.
  • Establish and enforce project management standards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Allocate resources (including personnel and budgets) effectively to meet project goals.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Establish regular communication channels with stakeholders to provide project updates.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (if applicable).
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge and expertise aligned to professional certification in project management (PRINCE2 practitioner, Agile Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications)
