CCP Recruitment have been asked by a state of the art, highly successful dry cleaning and laundry service to assist them with the appointment of a diligent Operations Manager to join their welcoming team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious senior leader to join a successful and fast-growing organisation, playing a vital part in shaping the company's future.
As an Operations Manager you will effectively deliver strong team management to ensure a smooth production flow through the operation while achieving productivity and quality targets. You will be based in their office in South West London, with shifts covering Monday to Friday, with Saturday working likely to be once a month. Working hours are from 7:30am – 4pm (Saturday working is reduced hours with shorter hours on a Friday to accommodate). The salary range is between £55,000 - £65,000 with up to 10% annual performance bonus.
Operations Manager key responsibilities:
- Managing an overall production team of 45+.
- Working with your assistant manager and team leaders.
- Production flow management and process improvement.
- Measurement and management of productivity, maintaining very high-quality levels.
- Consistently meeting KPI's and targets in a fast-moving environment.
- Recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Oversight and delivery of training for new and existing team members.
- Equipment maintenance and repairs, liaising with engineering partners.
- Troubleshooting technical, quality and team issues.
- Promote and endorse core company values of championing sustainability, expectational service and growth.
Operations Manager Requirements:
- Over 5 years experience in a similar Operations Manager role (ideally in a similar sector but not essential).
- Able to prioritise activities effectively in a high-pressured production environment.
- Able to motivate, develop and communicate effectively with team members of varying levels.
- Technically competent, able to work with suppliers to solve engineering problems.
- Proactive and resourceful.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
