Demand planning administrator

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a demand planning assistant in our client's busy offices based just past Bargoed.

The role is a full-time permanent position with good career progression and excellent benefits. The role will be based within the procurement team, and they are looking for someone with good numerical skills, strong excel and excellent communication skills.

Duties

  • To run the requisition report minimum four times per week for product category
  • Monitor Back order / arrears situation with vendors each week and chase where required.
  • Attend relevant category meetings with managers and communicate any actions for the team.
  • Help smooth out deliveries in from suppliers and where possible to aid in the goods in operation via Goods inwards calendar and confirmed portal dates from your suppliers.
  • With forecast and other information from manager work to deliver spot / tactical buys.
  • Participate in supplier visits both on site and off site with manager and look to build a solid working relationship with your relevant vendor contacts.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • PC literate and used to using a CRM database.
  • Strong numerical and excel skills
  • Complying with management requests and instructions
