React Native developer - Remote - £55,000
This is an exciting opportunity for a React Native Developer who is passionate about technology to join a fast-growing tech company.
Responsibilities
- Working with developers/team members of varying abilities, encouraging and mentoring them to reach their full potential and help to upskill the team
- Assist with identifying, reporting, planning and working on large sections of code which need improvement for maintainability.
- Supporting the delivery of features and functionality required by the Senior leadership team.
- Support with maintaining and providing technical understanding for delivering features and functionality.
- Proactively raising issues to the Lead Developer when necessary.
- Can form conversations and have an opinion on topics such as design patterns and architecture
- Knowledge of publishing apps to the relevant app platform stores
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or similar experience
- 4+ years working knowledge of React Native
- Demonstrable examples of code on previous projects or open-source code repository
- Experience in JavaScript and TypeScript ? Understanding of Restful APIs, using source control (git) and Agile practices
- Working knowledge of Software Development Practices + Methodologies
- Knowledge of how react native works on both Android and iOS platforms
- Experience leading projects
This is a remote position, with the requirement to go to the head office based in York once every quarter.
