Permanent - Full Time

UK, Remote / Office, with global travel

Up to £85,000 subject to experience plus Bonus & Car Allowance

T2M have been appointed to recruit a R2R Manager - 'Record to Report' (R2R) for a global group with a turnover in excess of £4B. This is newly created opportunity that will be accountable for the Management Finance Reporting roadmap, including developing new report and reporting systems, ensuring synergy and alignment with stakeholders on a local and 'shared services' level that are 'fit for purpose'.

This role will develop as the business moves through its change and transformation program. We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant with great technical accounting and commercial reporting experience, who has proven skills in developing world class Management Financial Reporting within a large multinational organisation, along with the ability to identify the 'needs and desires' of reporting at both local and group level to ensure a Reporting Centre of Excellence.

This key appointment will report into the Head of R2R, helping to shape and implement SAP / ERP implementations / change programmes to increase efficiency in the organisation.

What will you be doing in your role as R2R Manager:

  • Be the accountable owner for global process standardisation and optimisation, including the collaboration with other finance leaders to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide thought leadership for, and drive the creation of, a best-in-class Management Finance Reporting and Visualisation capability, as part of the Management Reporting Transformation programme.
  • Develop and lead a Reporting Centre of Excellence of up to 6 FTE to maintain the new Management Finance Reports and to develop additional reports for future requirements and provide Reporting process and system knowledge support to broader finance community.
  • Lead the functional development of SAP Management Finance Reporting and Visualisation Tools, capable of producing a core of automated standardised Financial Reports and self-serve bespoke reports, and work with Information Systems team to deliver them.
  • Define and agree Management Reporting requirements at the Business Unit, Geographical Region, Customer and Product Level.
  • Design and agree the scope, granularity and format of Management Finance Reports that provide appropriate levels of information for all users of financial information including financial processing, management review and analysis, commercial decision making, and Board Reporting.
  • Build the standardised suite of core automated Management Finance Reports including standard financial reporting, KPIs, profitability analysis, and other commercial financial information.

To be successful as R2R Manager you will have the following skills & experience:

  • Previous experience of working within a Management Financial Reporting team within a large multi-national business.
  • Excellent SAP ECC6/ SAP S4 HANA/SAP BW/ SAP SAC experience is essential
  • Adept at developing Management Financial Reports
  • BSc/BA degree in Finance or Accounting qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and leading Management Financial Reporting in a large multinational centre of excellence.
  • Confident and articulate with great influencing and communication skills to build effective relationships with different stakeholders.
  • Business process improvement experience.
  • Inquisitive and detail focused - happy to dig into information to find solutions to issues.
  • Excellent SAP ECC6 / SAP S4 HANA / SAP BW / SAP SAC experience essential.
  • Strong systems experience in Finance ERP implementation or large-scale change programmes, ideally (SAP ECC6 & S4 HANA).
  • Multiple management reporting and consolidation would be advantageous.
